Dr. Matt Paradisgarten DMD, Cert. Ortho, MsED, MDS.
Dr. Matt Paradisgarten grew up in Thornhill. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in biology at Princeton University in 2011 and went on to receive his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. In dental school, he was selected as one of only 3 students to complete a concurrent Master’s of Higher Education. Upon graduating he was inducted into the prestigious OKU dental honour’s society. He also received an honour’s certificate for publishing his research related to herpes virus proteins. He received his specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master’s of Dental Science from Rutgers University in 2018.
Dr. Matt is a dedicated and caring doctor who strives to provide the best clinical care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Happily married since 2010, Dr. Matt moved back to Ontario with his family shortly after completing his specialty training in Orthodontics. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, badminton and ping pong. He is also an avid skier and hiker and enthusiastic home cook for the most important people in his life, his wife and daughter. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Dr. Amalia Cong
Dr. Amalia Cong DDS, MS, Cert. Ortho, completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Duke University and her dental degree at the University of Toronto. During her studies, she was awarded numerous scholarships for academic and clinical excellence and was inducted into the OKU Dental Honour Society. She then pursued her orthodontic training at the University of Michigan, where she earned her specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree. Her thesis research on Invisalign was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Amalia is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Amalia is dedicated to providing the highest standard of orthodontic care for her patients in a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. She actively participates in seminars to stay updated on the latest advancements in orthodontics and continually seeks ways to enhance the treatment experience. Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Amalia enjoys exploring new restaurants, watching Netflix, and spending quality time with her friends, family, and two cats!
